The Gobi desert
The Gobi Desert, known as "Desert Desert" or "Waterless Place" is the 5th largest desert in the world. This desert is known to be home of the 1st dinosaur egg ever to be found! The desert is located in Eurasia (Asia+Europe), through Mongolia and China. The desert is very cold and dry, so if your thinking about comming here for a day away, you better bundle up! The Gobi is also filled with sand dunes and rocky areas. Winter seasons contain snow and ice storms with temperatures at -40 degrees Fahrenheit. In the summer temperatures can rise to 142 degrees Fahrenheit. Good news, you wont have to worry about too much about percipitation because the Gobi Desert only recieves 8 inches of rainfall per year!

The great bassin
The Great Basin Desert is the driest and hottest area in North America, with highs of 134 degrees Fahrenheit. It is the largest desert in the U.S. 200,000 square miles, lying between the Rocky Mountains and the Sierra Nevada Range. It lies mostly in the Navada range, extending into California, Oregon, Idaho and Utah. The desert recieves only 7-12 inches of rainfall yearly, so you wont have to worry about rain ruining your trip! Snow may fall at anytime of the year, so go out and have fun in the snow! You're going to love it! In the Great Basin National Park, glaciers can be seen too!

The Atacama Desert
The Atacama Desert is the worlds 2nd most driest region. The desert is a rainless region and only recieves its moisture from fog every few decades. The temperature averages from 32 degrees Fahrenheit to 75 degrees Fahrenheit. The Atacama Desert contains many famous artifacts and sites, such as the Giant Hand Buried in the Atacama Desert, better known as "Manode Desierto," "Hand of the desert." The "Giant Hand" represents injustice, loneliness, and sorrow, so come on down and see this wonderful site!
